  • Common Mis-En-Scene in Dystopian:old worn clothing, fallen cities, battle ground, dark,gloomy,yellow and brownish colors, cloudy sky’s, environmental destruction, environments foggy or surrounded by smoke, low key lighting, dark, moody lighting,the isolation of many settings set in cool de-saturated places, vivid colors, old cars, sometimes set in the future,

  • Examples of films: Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent, Alita:Battle Angle
  • What elements of the dystopian genre do you like like:I really like the future aspect and the moody lighting. It makes the movies more fun and interesting to watch
  • What elements of the dystopian genre do not appeal to you:  Probably the isolation of from the natural world is what I least like.

  Hi blog! Today I am doing the peer review. I asked my friend Ariana to watch the final results of my final task and she asked me to do the same with hers. I asked her to give a honest review like I was just a random person. Her friends also asked her to view their blogs which is too funny. After watching my final task she gave me the cons of it. First, she said that the pitch of the music should be a little lower so that people could hear us talking. Since it did seem that the music was a little loud I asked Amyia my group mate if she could do this. Secondly she said that we should have made the knife in scene 14 more noticeable because the way we where standing you couldn’t really see the knife. So we decided to go back to the pool and reshoot this scene again. Fun fact the day we filmed this scene we did like five retakes because we couldn’t stop laughing.
