Hi blog! We made Lots of changes to our video.Before we filmed we couldn't go to the woods that was by the house that we filmed at because we also had a knife for the scenes in the woods. So we decided to film in this grass area at the back of the house and changed the lake scene into a pool scene. For the editing process of our video we had to cut scenes short and edit some together so it would fit and not look weird. This is because our video was over 2 minutes by 1 minute and 30 secs. We can’t have the video over 2 minutes or less than 1:57 secs. But we managed to somehow make it work. Amyia my group mate did most of the editing and merging the scenes together. She has video star premium on her phone and CapCut. She also has the most experience with video editing since she edited videos for TikTok. Elieen edited the first few scenes of the video and I edited the “lake” and “woods” scene. I also cut some of the videos to to make them shorter. We added in the sound effects for the

  Hi blog! Today I am doing the peer review. I asked my friend Ariana to watch the final results of my final task and she asked me to do the same with hers. I asked her to give a honest review like I was just a random person. Her friends also asked her to view their blogs which is too funny. After watching my final task she gave me the cons of it. First, she said that the pitch of the music should be a little lower so that people could hear us talking. Since it did seem that the music was a little loud I asked Amyia my group mate if she could do this. Secondly she said that we should have made the knife in scene 14 more noticeable because the way we where standing you couldn’t really see the knife. So we decided to go back to the pool and reshoot this scene again. Fun fact the day we filmed this scene we did like five retakes because we couldn’t stop laughing. Lastly she said that some of the scenes were a little long. She mentions that the opening sequence shouldn’t be too long becaus

 Hi guys. Today we started editing. We had to make jump cut scenes included music, and maybe sound effects. Since Eileen did the first three scenes I decided to edit the last few scenes. The scenes that took place in the woods is my fav so I decided to edit it along with when they get back to the house. I added sounds of leaves and branches crunching but lowered the sound a bit since you can’t really hear them walking. I also added jump cuts from when the scenes are switching. I didn’t want it to look boring or else viewers wouldn’t like it. When the lake scene in scene 14 we did a close up shot of Kelly and Cheryl so there was really a thing to edit. I added low pitched water sounds though. When scene 14 is about to end I add and fade out and a dramatic slash sound. I might that keep it though. I have to think about it and get the opinions of my group mates. When Kelly is walking up the stairs I added a creaking sound and then I did a fade out with a dramatic sound to “wow” the viewer

 Hii! Today we finished scenes 14,15,and 16. I feel like I did terrible on the acting in scene 14. I had to act shocked and kind of angry. I’m always in a good mood. But I managed to do it after 3 takes. On my third take I thought I did better. I feel like I would be a terrible actor because they have to portray different emotions and I can’t really do that. Anyway Eileen filmed scene 14 since she wasn’t in it. I think she did an amazing job filming. Better than me if you had to choose. Scene 15 and 16 I wasn’t in. I took that opportunity  to take a short snack break because my stomach was growling. Scene 15 took no less than 10 minutes which was great because I had just finished my snack. I filmed scene 16 since I wasn’t in it. This since took lots of effort since Eileen had to scream in it. There was also so much suspense when Amiya(Kelly) started walking up the stairs. I would say that they are better actors than me. They did a fantastic job but I think I should lay off the filming

 Hi guys and gals! Todays we did another four scenes. I am happy to say that we are almost done. We did do filming at school since it is a Monday. I was kinda tired while filming my scenes because I went to sleep at 12 am but I didn’t show it. We did scenes 10, 11, 12, and 13.  My favorite part of the filming today was the woods scene which are scenes 12 and 13. These are the scenes where Kelly accidentally gets hurt in the woods. This is also the part which Veronica starts suspecting her. But I don’t want to get to into it unless I’ll spoil it. Today there was less procrastination unlike yesterday where we were messing up. We took about two short breaks. I got better at memorizing the lines since I have terrible memory. I’m glad that I accomplished that. I can’t wait to start editing the scenes. I’ve had past experience with editing so it will be fun. Todays writing is a little short since it was an easy day. Hope you enjoyed the reading and have a good day.
